    This souvenir shop with a wide array of items is located on the second floor of New Chitose Airport's Domestic Terminal Building. They have everything from classic souvenirs like Marusei Bata Sando cream filled cookies and Shiroi Koibito cookies to limited Hokkaido versions of nationally famous confectionery brands like Pocky and Hi-Chew. Apart from sweets, they also offer ramen and soup curry from a locally famous shop, processed seafood products, and dairy products including cheese and butter. All of their souvenirs are quintessentially Hokkaido. There are also items from Asahiyama Zoo and goods depicting popular local characters.

They offer souvenirs synonymous with Hokkaido like Shiroi Koibito cookies, Maruseibata Sando cream filled cookies, and an array of items such as curry, ramen, and products featuring the animal bounty of land and sea. Jaga Pokkuru potato sticks, LeTao's most popular double fromage cheesecake, and Rokkatei's popular nine-piece Rokkasen variety pack are all recommended. They also have regional sweets that are only available in Hokkaido.

They offer a full line of items unique to Senka in its airport shops nationwide and feature a wide range of goods including classic Hokkaido brand confectionery products, marine and meat items, and items based on popular characters only available in the region. They also sell Yukiakari Ramen of Sapporo Ramen Yukiakari which is open to Hokkaido Ramen Dojo on the third floor. They have miso butter and red miso styles available. Senka's polvoron Spanish shortbread is only available at New Chitose Airport.

One of the most popular items is the Salmon Kimchi (photo), that goes well both with sake or just with rice.

    Located on the second floor of the New Chitose Airport domestic terminal, this shop is a directly operated branch of the historic Obihiro main Ryugetsu confectionery store. The signature confectionery is the Sanporoku Plain baum kuchen log cake, depicting the white bark of a birch tree with white and dark chocolate. Using only 100% Tokachi grown wheat flour, Hokkaido butter, sugar, and eggs, this cake is baked to moist perfection. The mini size individually wrapped Sanporoku Kowari are popular as gifts.

    This flower wonderland is in Hokuryu Town, in Uryu County, Hokkaido. The 23-hectare area boasts of over 1,500,000 sunflowers, and when they are in full bloom sightseers flock to take in the scenery. The flowers bloom from late July to late August, and during that time they host the Sunflower Festival. They also have sightseeing cars taking visitors on a full circuit of the park to take it all in.

    A long-standing sake brewery founded in 1878 and located in Kuriyama Town, Yubari County, Hokkaido. The Kita no Nishiki Memorial Hall is popular with tourists and contains displays concerning Japanese sake as well as a tasting corner. With an advance reservation, visitors can also tour the brewery. 13 of the brewery's buildings, such as a kura warehouse and preserved home, have been Registered Tangible Cultural Properties by the national government.

    Its nice but really was not worth it, we arrived from Sapporo after deiving 50km but it was just a 3 room museum and could not see anything from the factory or production.
