    Hokkaido Sapporo-shi Minami-ku Makomanai Izumimachi 1-chome 6-1

    真駒内駅から徒歩10分。入館無料。白い平屋建ての洋風建築の建物は、北海道開拓使に招かれた外国人指導者エドウィン・ダンにより、「牧牛場の事務所」として1880年に建てられたもの。1964年に現在地に移築され、現在は国の登録有形文化財になっている。館内にはダンの足跡を表した油絵、遺品などが展示されているので、時間があれば訪れてみては。
