    Odori Park is a unique park located in the center of Sapporo City running about 1.5 kilometers from Odorinishi 1-chome to Odorinishi 12-chome. It also forms a base point that divides the city into north and south. In addition to the beautiful flowerbeds and lawns, as many as 4,700 trees from 92 species are spread about inside the park, and their changing appearance can be enjoyed through the four seasons. Odori Park is also a venue for the Lilac Festival, YOSAKOI Soran Festival, and Sapporo Snow Festival, and is popular as a place where many Sapporo locals and tourists gather for recreation as well.

    Nakajima Park, situated in the middle of downtown Sapporo next to the Susukino shopping district, is a green park housing the Hassoan Tea House, designated an important cultural asset of the country, and Hoheikan (a historical building and wedding venue), located in the grounds of the park. With boating to enjoy on the Shobuike pond, as well as having an observatory and many monuments, Nakajima Park is a perfect place to take a stroll.

    This huge park is only 3 stations down the nanboku li e fro sapporo station. Avery nice park suitable for whole family.

    Moerenuma Park is a comprehensive park in northeast Sapporo for which globally renowned sculptor Isamu Noguchi created the basic design. Based on the concept of “the whole being a single sculpture,” it was recommended to build on a site where 2.7 million tons of waste had been put in landfill, and the park opened in 2005. Hills with geometric forms, fountains, and play equipment have been arranged in a vast site equivalent to 40 Tokyo Domes, allowing a landscape that fuses art and nature to be enjoyed. Another attraction is that seasonal pastimes can be enjoyed with cherry blossoms in the spring, water activities in the summer, autumn leaves in the fall, and cross country skiing in the winter.

    This park with a good view of the Ishikari Plain and the Sea of Japan is located on a hill next to Mt. Moiwa and Mt. Maruyama. With a picnic and observation area centered around a 137.5-meter tall observatory and even a children's area, this park is particularly popular among families. Every summer, a professional vocalist is invited to the guest house, and as a choir collaboration with 300 of the local citizens, the local Sapporo Asahiyama Music Festival is held.

    "It is a flower park with a vast area of about 25.4 hectares. The garden is home to 6,400 varieties of flowers or other plants, and in particular, about 100 varieties of lilies collected from all over the world are spectacular. The park provides the ""Lily Train"", which runs for 12 minutes on a 1.2 km course through the park, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy the landscape created by the flowers. A Park Golf Court, a restaurant, and a Garden Shop are also in service, offering a variety of ways to enjoy the area."

    A sunken garden sprawling in front of the Sapporo Shiryokan (Former Sapporo Court of Appeals) abutting the western end of Odori Park. A rose garden, some 55 varieties of roses bloom across the garden from spring to summer. The sunken space in the center with a canal is modeled after the style of European gardens. Located close to Sapporo's downtown area, it can be fun to get something to go at a cafe and take it here to enjoy while strolling the grounds. Also a perfect place for a little morning walk, the garden serves as a space for local residents to relax and refresh themselves.
