    The Kushiro Wetlands Norokko Train, taking roughly one hour or so, runs slowly from Kushiro Station to Toro Station. There are carriages on the train from where you can see the largest wetlands in Japan and some spectacular meandering rivers. It’s a pleasure to be able to take in the sights while ambling along at such a relaxed pace. The train runs from late April through to October every year. Reserved seats can be booked one month in advance.

    The Furano Biei Norokko-go is a train that runs for a limited time from Furano to Asahikawa from mid-June to the end of September. Visitors can leisurely enjoy views of magnificent nature from the large windows of the train. The train makes a stop at the Lavendar Station convenient for lavender sightseeing. If you want to be sure of a seat, booking at JR Hokkaido is recommended.
