Two bar concepts coexist in the same establishment-the Rook counter seating area is a casual space, while the Tarry space is an authentic bar complete with comfortable sofa seating. The restaurant takes pride in its selection of alcoholic beverages and its large menu of food dishes made with ingredients shipped direct from Okhotsk. Particularly popular food choices include the soup curry made with an abundance of hearty Japanese scallop abductor muscle and suage plain-fried Hokkaido vegetables in oil; and the deer meat black curry, made with rare and unusual Hokkaido sika deer meat.

    Located just inside Shari Town along National Route 244 coming from Abashiri, this eatery, famous for its Japanese home-style seafood dishes, uses just the local food in Shiretoko. Their signature dish, Kakiage Shiretoko whelk uses soft shellfish carefully prepared to preserve the soft texture even after cooked, fried together with vegetables, is a crispy favorite. The tasty local Shari cold soba dish, Tsubuno Kakiage, is recommended. In the evenings this eatery serves the local micro brew sake and a superb selection of shellfish grilled on flame.

    Located on the north side of National Highway 36, near the Hosui Susukino Station on the Toho line, their landmark a large red sign. Large portioned meals as well as their original signature cheesecakes, various sinner bars, and other sweets can be enjoyed. The parfaits are especially popular. They are an official affiliate store for Hokkaido sinner parfaits. The homemade caramel pudding parfait made with caramel pudding, accented with hazelnut gelato and pistachio, is recommended. Sinner also offers party plans with four courses, all you can drink, and a selection of sweets from which to choose for dessert.

    This wine bar is on the B1 level of the Daito Building in Sapporo's Chuo-ku. In the chic and relaxing shop, there are around 300 kinds of domestic and foreign wines, including wine from Hokkaido, and you can savor the wine and dishes that go well with them. If you listen to the stories about the wine, it feels as if you are visiting a winery. All wine is served by the glass, and you can choose dishes such as appetizer platters, Hokkaido cheese and pasta that suit your mood and wine.
