    Sapporo Teine is the largest leisure facility in the suburbs of Sapporo. About 40 minutes from Sapporo City center, it enjoys good access, being a mere seven minutes from the Teine Interchange on the Sapporo Expressway. The Highland Zone with an elevation of 1,023 meters is a ski resort which was also used as a competition venue at the Sapporo Olympics held in 1972. There are plenty of ski slope attractions including the Terrain Park with its dynamic atmosphere and the Kyoryu Kids Park, where powerful dinosaurs can be played with. There is also free all-day parking that can accommodate 3,000 cars.

In January to February you can ski on a surface of dry powder snow. Snowboarding is available on all courses. There is also a kids experience program which is perfect for first-time skiers and playing in the snow.

    Ski resort in Sapporo City in Chuo Ward. Lots of visitors use this ski resort in the winter but summer offers a wide variety of activities as well. Try the tennis courts the park golf course and other outdoor leisure activities. They also offer ski rentals and skiing classes for beginners.

    We plan to visit Sapporo Banke kids park for snow experience not any ski activity on 2nd of December. May I know if the kids park is open early December

    A ski resort opened in 1960 and located in Sapporo City Hokkaido. Located very close to urban Sapporo the resort is for skiers only and is the only slope in Hokkaido to prohibit snowboarding. The resort has 10 different courses and everyone from beginners to advanced skiers can have fun here. The Sapporo Moiwayama Ski Resort Festival is also held here each year and the facility is a popular destination for locals.

    Worst ever hotel experience in Japan. Dishonest shameless Japanese trainless stuff, awful frozen food buffet, tiny snow field. Can not even deal with a basic toilet washlet issue. Never come again.

The resort boasts an abundant variety of courses, including the Dynamic Course, a natural halfpipe; the Challenge Course, which experiences a maximum slope of 24 degrees; and a forest course perfect for beginners, with visitors saying the whole family can have fun here. The resort is also used for all kinds of tournaments, such as the JOC Junior Olympic Cup. After a day on the slopes, the best thing to do is stop by the Nukabira Gensenkyo, where you'll find hot spring bathhouses with baths constantly replenished from a source spring ""kakenagashi style."""

    雪質も眺めも良いのですが、過去2回行きましたがともに高速リフトが強風で運休でした。リフトは2本だけなので高速リフトが運休すると滑ることができるコースが限られます。運が悪かったのか、場所的に風が強いことが多いのかはわかりません。

    This is the largest of the four ski resorts in the Niseko area. With the Siberian chill that blows in on the area’s seasonal wind, you can enjoy the finest powder snow. It has 15 gondolas and lifts, a rich variety of 30 runs, and Mt. Yotei rising before your eyes. The resort is enormous, so it’s a good idea to bring a course map the first time you visit. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes at the foot of the resort, so you’ll always be able to find good eating and drinking options.
