Okayama City South Village is an agricultural park located along Prefectural Route 22 in Kataoka, Minami Ward in the city of Okayama. It offers do-it-yourself crop picking, including strawberries, with the specific crops varying from season to season. Visitors can also experience the art of Tole painting. The park also contains a grassy lawn, a swimming pool that is open only in the summer, a karaoke facility, restaurants, and a lodging facility that is modeled after a Spanish farmhouse. The market is open 365 days a year and sells fresh farm products and freshly caught fish. A flea market is held in the park at regular intervals.

The farm offers a course which lets visitors experience the life of a farmer, including milking cows and making butter (advance reservation required). This multi-generational bamboo farm boasts 24 hectares of beautifully maintained bamboo thickets that stretch as far as the eye can see. From April to June, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including foraging for bamboo shoots, drinking matcha tea out of bamboo cups, bamboo crafts, and bamboo hammocking. It is also possible take strolls through the bamboo thickets, which are illuminated at night. This nearly 6,000 square meter agritourism farm, the largest in Chiba Prefecture, is where you can enjoy strawberry picking. The strawberries cultivated on an upper and lower level in a greenhouse can be picked while in a comfortable posture, without bending over. Inside the facility, there are also log playground equipment and baby cots, making it easy for families to come and visit. In addition, blueberries are harvested in the summer.

規模の大きいいちご狩り園です。棚が2段になっているので、しゃがまずにいちご狩りができてお子さんにも大人にも取りやすいと思いました。練乳は別売りでカップに入れて販売されます。人数の多いグループなら事前にチューブのものでも購入していった方がお得だと思います。イチゴはとても大粒で甘く、大変おいしいです。とはいえそんなには食べられないので、正直元は取れないと思いますが、体験としては楽しめると思います。

This agricultural facility was established in 1965. It has a full complement of various areas such as a paddock, an exhibition poultry house, vegetable gardens and greenhouse cultivation. It is famous as a spot for viewing weeping plum blossoms, and every year a Weeping Plum Festival is held here. The local people also often use it as a meeting place.

名古屋市農業センターdelaファーム内に有る売店です牧場の牛から搾乳したミルクから作られているジェラートがとても美味しいです。常時5-6種類のジェラートが販売されているのですが、なぜかシングルしかなくて残念です。一度に色んなフレーバーが食べたいのに… 他にもプリンやドーナツ等々あって、梅まつりの時期には限定の梅ジュレとミルクジェラートのパフェが販売されます。
