Hyogo Sasayama-shi Gofukumachi 46

This facility, located on Aoyama-dori Street in the Gofuku-machi area of Tanba-Sasayama City, shows the process of sake production and is run by the sake company Houmei Sake Brewery, which was established in 1797. The learning course, with displays the tools used to make sake and panels about the sake production process, can be enjoyed free of charge and without reservations (reservations are required for groups). There is also a shop selling all products by the brewery and specialty products from Sasayama. Buildings such as the main building and brewery are registered as national Tangible Cultural Properties.

A facility owned and operated by Morita, a sake brewery which produces the Nenohi refined sake. A remodeled brewery built 170 years ago, visitors can observe the processes involved in making sake, miso, and soy sauce. Visitors can also sample Nenohi, eat tasty dishes made with miso, and purchase exclusive Morita products only sold here. Tours are offered to groups of 15 people or more.

ソニー創始者森田昭夫さんのご実家、醸造のの老舗「盛田」の蔵を改造した中に物販、飲食、加えて森田昭夫氏のミニ展示があります。日本酒「ねのひ」はじめ醤油、味噌、味醂など多種多様な醸造品が並び見ているだけでも楽しいです。飲食店では味噌煮込みうどんをいただきましたが香り良く上品な味で美味しかったです。

Here you can visit the heart of the newspaper company, including its editorial office and printing divisions. For ages nine and up, a visit offers the chance to see the newspaper publication process up close. Reservations are required and can be made by phone starting three months in advance. Reservations for school groups will start six months prior.

A miso factory and shop located in Chino City, Nagano Prefecture. The establishment makes its miso in an old storehouse once used for silk production, and visitors can tour this factory area. In the shop area, you can buy a wide variety of miso as well as garlic pickled in miso, miso ramen, and more, and the establishment is popular with people of all ages.

ドライブ中に、買い物で寄りました。 4代百年の丸井味噌、どぶろく(濁り酒)、漬物、甘酒、味噌スィーツなどが、店に並んでいました。「どぶろく、にんにく味噌、味噌」を買いました。「玄米のどぶろく」も以前はあったようですが、今回は無しでした。どんな味なのかいつかは試してみたいです。

初めて地熱発電所と言うところに行きました。水力とは違った自然の力を利用した発電所ですが、そのスケールに驚きました。一見の価値ありだと思います。

A factory a two-minute drive from the Yagi-nishi interchange on the Kyoto Jukan Expressway. This factory primarily produces Snow Brand MEGMILK brand milk, yogurt, and probiotic yogurt drinks. Seeking to help people learn more about milk and dairy products, the factory offers tours which last from around an hour to an hour and a half during which you can see the milk and yogurt production processes and quality assurance room, watch informational videos, and try some of the company's products. (Tours require an advance reservation by phone.)

Orion Happy Park is the facility where Orion Beer (Okinawa's most famous beer) is brewed; visitors can enjoy a guided tour of the brewery, and then enjoy tasting Orion Beer after the tour (soft drinks are available for children and designated drivers). Orion Happy Park has its own restaurant-Yanbaru no Mori-where visitors can enjoy beer that has been made on the premises and delicious food made with local ingredients (it is possible to visit the Park just to use the restaurant). Designed around the concepts of high quality, environmental friendliness, and environmental harmony, the factory engages in a variety of environmentally-conscious activities such as waste reduction and recycling initiatives. Camphor trees, the official tree of Hyogo Prefecture, have been planted at the factory site, and visitors may also freely stroll on the green grounds. The Hall of Awa Japanese Handmade Paper, just a 15-minute walk from the JR Awa Yamakawa Station, was constructed in May 1989 for the purpose of preserving the traditional craft of Awa Japanese Paper making. Awa Washi is soft Japanese paper made by using indigo dye, an art that has been transmitted for 1,300 years. Opportunities for watching washi-craftsmen working, as well as papermaking workshops are available to the public. Artwork studios are also made available to promote both local and international artists. Two exhibition rooms are open to the public, and available as art galleries.

An automobile factory in Shoya Town, Ota City. This is where SUBARU cars including their LEGACY and IMPREZA lines are manufactured. Factory tours are available where you can see parts of the production process including the pressing of parts, welding, and final assembly and in the attached Visitor Center there are educational videos and displays. Located a three-minute drive from the Maya ramp exit on the Harbor Highway or an eight-minute walk from the Mayafuto bus stop. This factory, located on the east side of Mayafuto, is owned and operated by the longstanding dairy company Morinaga Milk. The factory offers scheduled tours on weekdays for groups of 15 to 100 people. Reservations can be made from the 1st of the month to the 14th of the month two months in advance; participants must be of elementary school age or older. After listening to an explanation provided by a staff member and watching a video, tour goers enter the actual factory and watch from a passage as various products are made. The factory also offers optional activities like cheese making.

You can learn about traditional Japanese sake brewing culture at this hall about a seven-minute walk from the JR Rokko Liner's Minami-Uozaki Station. Watching the brewing process in action from their viewing area, you can hear the sound of the sake fermenting away and experience the moromi fermenting mash mixing process through its sweet scent surrounding you. The tours are available year-round. They also have a tasting area where you can try limited edition raw sake as well as one serving more affordable brews. Another area offers the highest grade of sake measured out the old-fashioned way. This variety was closely guarded and formerly only available to the brewers themselves.

The Sato Yosuke Flagship shop was founded in 1860, controls every step of the process meticulously, from ingredient selection to shipping, and manages everything in-house for their Inaniwa Dried Udon. At the Flagship Store, not only can you try the shop's products on-site off their full menu, you can also watch the master makers at work on a tour of the factory. There is also an attached tourist information center and shop selling Akita specialties.

佐藤養助さんは、都心に3店ある以外は、全て秋田県内に店舗があり(海外店舗は除く)、なかなか行けなかったんですが、今回は3連休を利用して秋田へ遠征！稲庭うどんは絶品！二味、3玉、天ぷら付きも、アッという間の完食！特にゴマだれツユが、ホント旨かった！紅葉にはまだ早かったけど、ドライブがてら来て正解でした。帰りにお土産も買いました。さて、今夜は温泉でゆっくりします。ごちそうさまでした。
