    A theme park dedicated to kamaboko steamed fish paste operated by Suzuhiro, a kamaboko shop of long-standing located in Odawara. The park is filled with things to see and do. There’s a museum which introduces the history of kamaboko; classes which teach how to make kamaboko by hand (advance reservation required); a market where souvenirs such as kamaboko, dried foods, and fried delicacies are sold; and a bar where visitors can eat and compare kamaboko made according to different methods. The restaurant and all-you-can-eat buffet, serving the unique delights of Odawara, are also popular.

    Kikyo Shingen Mochi has been awarded many prizes including the honorary president award, at the National Confectionery Exposition. The factory is surrounded by lush vegetation with a site area of 11,000 square meters and a total floor area of 5,000 square meters. On the factory tour you can see how 100,000 pieces of Kikyo Shingen Mochi a day are packed meticulously by hand. You can also have a go at packing some of the mochi and enjoy sampling some of the delicious sweets. Admission is free and advance reservations are not required if going alone. Factory tour times are fixed so be sure to check in advance.

    This Kirin Beer brewery is located in Yokohama City, the birthplace of the Japanese beer industry. It is the oldest and one of the largest Kirin Beer breweries in Japan. Visitors can learn the secrets behind the great taste of Kirin Ichiban Shibori beer during one of their popular brewery tours, each which approximately 80 minutes. Some of the attractions of the tour include comparing the flavor of the first press of the wort and the second press of the wort and tasting the malt, and more. Other tours suitable for families and people of all ages include a tour of the area's grand biotope, a quiz tour of the brewery, and more.

    This is a logistics facility operated by the Yamato Group, which is known as Kuroneko Yamato no Takkyubin (literally, “Black Cat Home Delivery Service”). Located in a place that is easily reachable from Haneda Airport, the expressway, Tokyo Bay, and the Tokyo Freight Terminal, this facility supports Yamato’s speedy deliveries. The general observation course requires about 90 minutes and participation is free of charge. In addition to panels and videos describing Yamato’s history and logistics arrangement, visitors can also watch the flow of packages and Central Control Room through the glass walls. Reservations must be made on the Internet. The closest station is Anamori-inari Station.

    This automotive factory is in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture, located approximately 10 minutes' walk from the Marriyell Ota-mae bus stop, which can be reached by taking the bus from the Tobu Isesaki Line's Ota Station. The factory has a visitor hall with an exhibition space and a gallery. Visitors first receive pamphlets and a video explanation of the factory. Afterwards, they are taken on a tour of the welding, trimming and pressing processes carried out at the factory, and are given the chance to see each phase of production being carried out with state-of-the-art transfer press machines. A reservation is required to join a tour of the factory.

    A recycling plant located along the Live Line connecting Prefectural Routes 125 and 56. Visitors can tour the plant and watch as plastic trays from supermarkets and other materials and separated and recycled. After the tour, visitors can watch a DVD explaining the plant's workings and ask a representative question, making the facility an excellent place to learn how recycling is actually carried out. Tours are reservation only; applications are accepted over the Internet and via fax machine. Two tours are offered every weekday starting at 9:00 and 13:00. Tour-goers can also have a bento box lunch from the plant sold at cost.

The facility makes use of easy to understand videos, ensuring visitors of all ages can have fun and learn. Yakult products have long been a favorite of Japanese households, and the strict safety standards employed here as well as the overwhelming scale of the facility also make the factory an excellent topic for a child's summer vacation school research project. Tours are offered from Monday through Saturday and take around one hour. Tour-goers can view production processes up close and also sample Yakult products.

    A factory located a five-minute drive from the Ami-higashi interchange on the Ken-O Expressway. The factory, opened in 2014, makes Megmilk Snow Brand dairy products such as processed cheeses and margarine. The factory makes some 200 varieties of products, making it the largest operated by Megmilk Snow Brand. Visitors can have fun here while learning about cheese and margarine, take commemorative photos using special photo sets, try a virtual reality experience which shows how cheese is made, and sample some of the company's products.

    町内会で予約、最新のチーズ工場見学をしました。2014年から稼働、ここで雪印のチーズやマーガリンを製造、全国に出荷してるそうです。初めに大型スクリーンで工場の概要を見てから見学しますが、ロボット導入で人がとても少なかったです。途中、VR(バーチャルリアリティ)体験、幼稚園の年長児くらいから楽しめそうです。最後にチーズの試食、売店でお買い物も出来ました。人気で予約が取りにくいようですがお勧めです。

    This soybean product plant is located in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. The plant offers tours (reservation required) where visitors can see the soybean product manufacturing process and more. The plant also offers an area where visitors can sample tofu, yuba (tofu skins), and soy milk, as well as another where they can purchase souvenirs. The plant, which is visited by many tourists, also offers two hands-on tofu making classes per day (limited to 50 people per class).

    This exhibition hall is located in the Kikkoman Noda Factory, about three minutes on foot from Nodashi Station. They conduct tours that let you see the soy sauce manufacturing process, including the fermentation of the mash. Displays provide a sensory experience of soy sauce, and you'll learn a lot about it through audio-video displays and quizzes. Their shop sells Kikkoman items and Noda specialty products, and their cafe serves light fare featuring soy sauce, including soy sauce soft serve ice cream.

Their Soy Sauce Tasting Hall has an exhibit of soy sauce making equipment and lets visitors try hand-toasted rice crackers and soy sauce soft serve ice cream. Reservations aren't required at the tasting hall.

    This is the second factory of Nagomi no Yoneya, which manufactures Japanese sweets such as Narita's yokan (red bean jelly).
