The dish is meat udon noodles with the noodles removed and a semi-boiled egg added. It became popular since Kyo Hanaki, an actor who used to perform at Yoshimoto Shinkigeki, ordered the dish at the main restaurant when he suffered from a hangover. The soup with plenty of beef on top has a delicate taste with the punch of bonito flavor. Making a set meal with rice covered with an egg is popular. The closest station is Namba Station.

The poet Kenji Miyazawa is also said to have been a customer at the time of its establishment, so there is a Kenji Set on the menu which includes the tempura soba and Mitsuya Cider he used to order.
