    This is a branch of the Taiwanese cafe Chunshuitang, which has 45 shops in Taiwan. It's in Nishinomiya Gardens, about a three-minute walk from the southeast exit of Nishinomiya Kitaguchi Station in Hyogo Prefecture. Popular for being the originators of tapioca milk tea, they make their signature drink with preservative-free tea leaves, tapioca, and an original blend syrup. Their food menu includes noodle dishes like Sura Tanmen (Hot and Sour Soup Noodles), the traditional Taiwanese soy milk sweet known as douhua with a variety of toppings, and Taiwanese style chimaki rice dumpling wrapped in bamboo leaves.

This tea cafe chain was founded in 1983 and has 45 locations in Taiwan. The inventor of bubble tea, the chain is widely popular with people in Taiwan. The interior of the shop is chic and accented with woods and floor to ceiling windows. Here you can enjoy select, additive free teas made only by staff who have passed the Tea Meister Certification System. The cafe's full menu includes both hot and iced beverages. The cafe also offers Taiwanese sweets as well as Taiwanese noodles and other light meals.

    This is the main shop of the LITTLE JUICE BAR, which offers a new way to enjoy fruit. Their frozen dessert Ichigo Kezuri (R) is 100% made from strawberries. Ichigo Kezuri (R) was born in 2008, and is a new idea based on the familiar syrup-topped shaved ice. They shave down whole frozen strawberries, and top it with milk mousse for a filling sweet treat. The crunch of frozen strawberries is matched with rich milk mousse made with Hokkaido milk and condensed milk in perfect harmony. It's a perfect treat for outdoor summer fun, when proper vitamins are often hard to find.

    Good juice. Banana juice and peach pineapple juice were both good. They come mixed with sugarcane juice. The same shop sells small bags of salt that a local told us is some of the best salt in Japan...
