One of the most popular activities for tourists is to take the seafood and meats purchased in Hasshoku Center and immediately grill and enjoy them at Shichirinmura. All of the sellers at the market also offer services such as dressing meats so you can easily grill them. Shichirinmura also conveniently sells sake and side dishes perfect for enjoying with your barbecue.

The private rooms are perfect for celebrations or more private meals with a relaxed atmosphere in this old house style restaurant.     This long established okonomiyaki restaurant, located in Nagarekawa Town, Naka Ward, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, was founded in 1958 and has been run by the same family for three generations. The restaurant has an old-fashioned appeal with its eye-catching red shop awnings and lanterns. Guests can enjoy the exhilaration of seeing the teppanyaki (food grilled on an iron plate) cooked right in front of your eyes on the hot iron plates set up at the counter. Taste the okonomiyaki unique to Hiroshima which has been loved by the locals since long ago starting with the Koshida special, packed full of meat, egg, squid tempura, green onion and noodles.

    They have both private rooms and counter seats. We chose to seat at the counter. Good atmosphere, Friendly staffs, Energetic chef, very delicious okonomiyaki and also good teppanyaki.

    This Yokote yakisoba noodle shop sells over 100,000 servings a year. The shop has counter and floor seating and private rooms for up to 40 customers, and in addition to Yokote yakisoba they offer other low-brow and izakaya Japanese pub-style cuisine. Their main product, Yokote yakisoba, is made with thick, chewy noodles and topped with an egg sunny side up.

    焼きそばの概念は人それぞれだから一概には言えませんが…B級グルメと言うだけあって、やっぱりB級でした。お店は昭和の匂いがするお店ですね。BGMはど演歌バンバン流れていて、ちょっと耳障り。

    This restaurant is located inside Sakana no Eki Ikuji, which can be accessed by car or by local bus (using the Shinkansen-Ikuji Line) from Unazuki Onsen Station. Guests can choose own fresh seafood or Ikuji salt-dried seafood from the showcase and cook it themselves. The restaurant also has a full selection of fresh seafood to enjoy, including their sashimi boat or fried eelpout set meals, their kaisen-don (sashimi on rice), and more. Each set meal comes with a fisherman's soup made with hearty seasonal ingredients that are a feast for the eyes as well as for the palette.

Reservations are necessary and can be made for groups of at least four people by telephone or online. There are separate courses for lunchtime and dinnertime. It is recommended that you should come for lunch if you want to fully enjoy the seafood, and come for teatime in order to enjoy chatting with the divers. In addition, you can also order Japanese spiny lobster at a special price during lunchtime. The restaurant's heritage chicken, grilled over a charcoal brazier; and sides made with local vegetables and edible wild plants are superbly delicious. Here customers can relax and enjoy a slow meal while experiencing the area's seasonal natural beauty through all five senses.

    菊池市内で立ち寄ったお店で伺ったお店でした。 なかなか分かりにくい所にあるお店でした。 13時過ぎにお店に着いたところ満員で、約30分ぐらい待ちましたが、だんご汁 地鶏焼き山菜料理などすべての料理が、美味しかったです。 お店の雰囲気も良くそしてお店の従業員の方々の接客もよかたです。 今度また是非行きたいとおもいました。

    This teppan-yaki hot plate restaurant is just a seven-minute walk from Fujinomiya Station in the direction of Mt. Fuji. They've been making fresh hot takoyaki and okonomiyaki ever since they first opened in 1967. They're known for their Fujinomiya Yakisoba, a catch all title which includes squid yakisoba, meat yakisoba, egg yakisoba, and more, and has entered into the B-1 Grand Prix Hall of fame, a contest which gathers local cuisine from around Japan. Their yakisoba made with top quality lard is very filling and its simple delicious flavor has been loved by the locals for many years.
