There are plenty of set meals to try, including soba, udon, katsu-don, and of course the famous “toge-no-kama meshi.” Nearby is a historical resources museum covering the history of “oginoya” and Yokokawa Station.

It is open 24 hours, and everything on the menu which is a fusion of Japanese and Western is available for take-out. Despite the American-style facade, it is a fun place which has a range of antique toys and an aquarium where you can see tropical fish. It faces the sea so you can gaze at the beautiful sunset in the evening.

    Loved the charm of the place. Our Okinawan friend took us here on our way to our hotel and we thought it was a lot of fun and great value for money!
