This establishment is the official shop of Hiroyuki Suwahara, a master illustrator who creates stunning depictions of Japanese Warring States period samurai warriors. Situated around 300 meters from Nasu Safari park, the log house-style shop sells original merchandise and displays illustrations by Suwahara normally only viewable in art exhibitions. Packed with items decorated with the family crests of some of Japan's most famous samurai, merchandise featuring the artist's illustrations, and more, the shop's selection of Warring States period-themed products is one of the largest in the entire country. Inside the shop, customers are greeted by depictions of samurai commanders in full armor. Carrying original Japanese sword and family crest merchandise sold no place else, many of the shop's customers make their way here from across the country and the world.
