    A zoo where everything from lions to carps live in an area surrounded by natural woodland. Opened in 1973, this extremely rare zoo is operated privately. The zoo cares for injured animals and animals which had no place elsewhere to go after the original zoo they were kept at closed. Visitors can also take commemorative pictures with and feed a variety of animals, such as hamadryas baboons.

    This zoo is located in the Shibukawa 3 Chome area of Tamano City. It raises 600 animals from about 80 different species on the site covering almost 100,000 square meters. Besides being able to interact with various animals such as through dog walking and horseback riding, you can collect insects that live in the park for free during the summer.

    動物はイヌ、ネコ、大型亀、豚、牛、ヤギ、ロバ等。 ただ、ほとんどが放し飼いで触れるのが他と異なる特徴。山がまるごと放し飼いみたいな。 子供に最適な動物園です。

    子供のころから行っているけど、ショーをやるようになったとは初めて知りました。お猿さんの話はためになりましたが、ちょっと時間が長めで、もう少し簡潔にできればいいと思います。一番上からは都心のビルもよく見えて景色がいいです。

    Opened in 1985, the Sabae City Nishiyama Zoo has made great strides in raising and breeding rare wild animals, particularly the red panda. This zoo is one of the few in the country to successfully breed red pandas. Red pandas don’t like the heat so you can’t see them much in summer, but there are live cameras placed inside and outside the red panda house, so you can see them in all their cuteness.

    豪雪の中、鯖江の駅から歩いて行きました! 人がマダラの中、辿り着いた時は感動でした。 そして、目的のレッサーパンダちゃんが可愛い❤️ リスザルちゃんもかわいい。 ここが入場料無料とは驚きです! 来れてよかったです。

The Friendship Park, where you can pet and meet various animals, is particularly popular amongst children. Rare Australian animals including wombats and wallabies are also here at the zoo including the first wombats born in Japan who are growing up nice and healthy.

    This zoo is located a three-minute walk from the Makigaharaoike bus stop and 15 minutes from Futamatagawa Station. Situated on the north side of Children's Natural Park near the picnic field, this zoo is designed to be a place which is open and accessible to families with small children. There's a petting zoo which is open for three sessions a day where children can play with chickens, guinea pigs, mice, and other animals. When the zoo is particularly crowded, petting zoo time may be limited. Visitors can also see Goishi chabo chickens, a domestic Japanese chicken breed now designated a National Natural Monument, up close in the zoo's Japanese chicken house.

Approximately 86 kinds of animals are bred in the zoo, and events are regularly held such as ""Penguin Mogumogu Petapeta Time"" (when the penguins go for a walk), feeing time when you can feed ponies and deer, and time when you can interact with guinea pigs. Many families visit mainly on the weekends."

    懐古園の中にある昔ながらの雰囲気がある動物園です。結構いろいろな動物がいますが、ときどきなくなってしまった動物の訃報が張りだしてあったりして、ちょっとしみじみなごみます。

    This zoo, which opened in April 1951, is located inside of Takaoka Kojo Park. Starting in 1978, the zoo built a new natural history museum and conducted extensive renovations of its animal enclosures and facilities as part of a three-year plan before reopening in April 1981. The zoo cares for and exhibits 135 individual animals belonging to 40 species with a focus on Japanese macaques, American miniature horses, flamingos, and Humboldt penguins. From April to November, the zoo also operates a petting zoo with rabbits and Guinea pigs.

    高岡城址公園にある小さな動物園。すごい動物はいないが、小さな子供連れなら十分楽しめる。職員の手作りの動物の説明がかわいく、けっこう人気を呼んだとか。無料だけど、けっこう運営は厳しいのだろう。頑張ってね。

About 400 animals of 60 species are cared for and shown to the public in a lush laurel forest. It is the first zoo in Japan to successfully breed Japanese wood pigeons, a protected species. They also have a breeding program that's part of Tokyo's Zoo Stock Plan propagating such rare animals as the Aldabra giant tortoise and the Hawaiian goose. Monkey Island at the center of the facility and has a roughly 60-meter bridge. Made with volcanic rock from Oshima eruptions, it's Japan's largest enclosure of its kind with ring-tailed lemur and Barbary sheep."

    An amusement park located in Asuwayama Park, a lush park with spectacular views 20 minutes from the Fukui interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway. Surrounded by trees and situated on a sloping hill, facilities include a small zoo and playground. The new Happy Jungle zoo building provides a space which animals and people can share, and here visitors will find capybara, marmosets, and other small mammals as well as birds and reptiles. There are also rare animals such as parrots and parakeets protected under the Washington Convention as well as red kangaroos.

    足羽山公園の中ににある、無料で入れる遊園地と動物園です。 とても楽しくて、無料で入れるのはすごいと思います。 カピバラとモルモットとアヒルとニホンザルに餌やりが出来ます。それぞれ100円かかるけど、入館が無料だから安いと思います。
