- Kirosan Observation Park

- Ehime Pref. Imabarishi Yoshiumichouminamiura 487-4
- A scenic observation park situated on top of Mt. Kiro in Yoshiumi Town, Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture. The park is one of the best view spots on the Shimanami Kaido Expressway, and offers a sweeping view of the Kurushima-Kaikyo Bridge, the world’s first three tower suspension bridge; the Kurushima Strait, one of Japan’s three most majestic rapid tides; and the city of Imabari. Another highlight of the park is that visitors can enjoy excitingly different scenery depending on the time of day—in addition to the invigorating scenery during daylight hours, there’s also the beauty of the sun setting into the sea as well as the impressive sight of the Kurushima-Kaikyo Bridge lit up at night. The road leading to the park is steep and full of curves, so particular care needs to be taken by visitors seeking to reach it by bicycle.
-
If you are biking, be prepared for a lung-busting climb but its worth it! The views of the Kursushima Straits and the bridge are incredible.

- This castle ruin park is located near the Tsuyama Wonder Museum in Tsuyama City. One of Japan's three major mountain castles, it once had 60 towers and was built by Mori Ranmaru's younger brother Mori Tadamasa on Mt. Kaku. Although all buildings were destroyed with the ordinance for the disposal of castles, the Bichu Yagura was restored as a characteristic building of a mountain castle in 2005 and is open to the general public. The ruins of the castle became Kakuzan Park, and is also famous as a place for viewing cherry blossoms that was chosen as one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots, and has particularly splendid night cherry blossoms illuminated by small lamps with paper shades.

- A municipal park with an exotic atmosphere opened in 1900. The park is located at the foot of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge a five-minute walk from Maiko Station on the JR San'yo Main Line as well as Sanyo Electric Railway Maiko-koen Station. Maiko Beach is known for its spectacular white sands and green pines as well as its commanding view of Awaji Island and has been praised in poem and song since ancient times. Today, some 1,800 pines grow in a grove in the area. Various historic structures restored or rebuilt to their full glory stand on the park's grounds and are open to the public, such as the Former Residence of the Kinoshita Family, an early modern Japanese home built in the tea ceremony arbor style; and the Former Residence of Sanji Muto, a Western-style home built in the Colonial style.

The bridge hangs over this park. Why was this park built, just to gobble up more budget? Devastating!

- Mie Pref. Igashi Uenomarunouchi 122-1
- "This castle site park sprawls in front of Uenoshi Station on the Iga Line. Iga Ueno Castle, the park's symbol, is notable for its high stone walls built by Warring States period commander Todo Takatora. Due to the beauty of the white, three-tiered fortress, it is also known as Hakuho (""White Chinese Phoenix"") Castle. The park also has a variety of facilities brimming with history, including the Ninja Museum of Igaryu, which is filled with tricks such as secret doors and revolving walls; the Haiseiden, a building whose design was inspired by the traditional travel garments worn by famed haiku poet Matsuo Basho; and the Basho Memorial Museum. The Ninja Museum of Igaryu notably holds demonstrations of Iga-ryu ninja techniques and is a fun destination for everyone from history fans to small children. The park has also been planted with seasonal flowers and is a renowned destination for cherry blossom viewing in particular. Opened in 1969 as a forest park filled with waterside areas and greenery, in 1977 it was dedicated a memorial park in honor of the 50th anniversary of the enthronement of Emperor Showa. Divided into south, central, and north sections, the areas are connected by the symbol of the park, the Kiba Park Bridge. The park is filled with things to see and do, and visitors can go on a picnic on its vast grass lawn or enjoy one of the many events held in the park's event venue. The north section has an adventure square where children can play on a large playground or splash around in a specially designed manmade shallow pond. The park also has a barbecue ground.

This is a surprisingly large park with tracks and places to exercise. It has a weird—obviously graft— giant foot bridge linking the two halves.
